Sony has surprised a newly married couple with an unexpected wedding gift, after responding to their invitation with a bundle of PlayStation games and a congratulatory message.
The gesture came to light through an Instagram reel posted on February 12, which has since attracted more than 900,000 views. In the clip, the couple film themselves opening a letter from Sony and revealing the contents sent to mark their marriage.
Inside the package were digital codes for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Horizon Call of the Mountain. The newlyweds also appeared to receive in-game items for Fortnite, along with at least two additional code cards. While the video cuts off before those titles are clearly shown, one of the cards seems to relate to a sports game published by 2K.
Alongside the game codes was a congratulatory card addressed personally to the pair. The handwritten note read:
“Aidan & Kirsten, Congratulations on your marriage!”
Beneath it was a printed message that stated:
“Congratulations and Thank you for playing with us.”
The post’s caption made clear how much the gesture meant to them. Kirsten wrote:
“Thank you, PlayStation! That was so thoughtful of you guys. We’ve loved PlayStation since we were kids.”
