A new LEGO Animal Crossing set has been revealed, with Timmy and Tommy taking centre stage in the latest addition to the collaboration between LEGO and Nintendo. The set, titled Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out, is set to release on 1 August 2026, continuing the expansion of the Animal Crossing range.

The new set focuses on the Nooklings, two of the most recognisable characters in the series, shifting attention toward a more character-driven build. Unlike earlier entries in the line that leaned heavily on modular environments, this set presents a smaller, more contained scene built around the duo and their activities.

Comprising 513 pieces and identified as set number 77509, the build recreates a relaxed outdoor setting inspired by the everyday tone of Animal Crossing. The scene centres on a bridge with a fishing setup, capturing a familiar activity from the games and translating it into a compact display format.

The design reflects the series’ laid-back atmosphere, with the Nooklings positioned within a setting that emphasises calm exploration rather than action. By focusing on a simple moment rather than a large-scale location, the set offers a different take compared to earlier releases, appealing both to collectors and those looking for a more straightforward build.

This release also highlights how the LEGO Animal Crossing line continues to evolve. While the first wave introduced multiple locations and characters, newer sets appear to be experimenting with more focused concepts, placing individual characters or small scenes at the centre of the experience.

The timing of the release places it alongside LEGO’s broader push into gaming collaborations, where established franchises are being adapted into physical sets with increasing variety. Animal Crossing remains a natural fit for this approach, with its recognisable characters and everyday scenarios lending themselves well to brick-built interpretations.

With Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out arriving on 1 August 2026, the Animal Crossing LEGO range continues to expand with a set that highlights both character and atmosphere. It offers a snapshot of the series’ world in a compact form, reinforcing the appeal of bringing familiar gaming moments into a physical format.
